About Me

Hi, I’m David Lind, a Senior Product Designer based in San Diego. Before transitioning into design, I worked as a firefighter. That experience shaped my ability to perform under pressure, collaborate effectively with a team, and bring clarity to high-stakes, fast-moving environments.

I’m passionate about transforming complex ideas into intuitive, well-crafted digital experiences. I thrive at the intersection of analytical thinking and visual design, stepping back to understand the bigger picture while refining the smallest details. Whether starting from a rough concept or evolving an existing product, I focus on creating structure, usability, and thoughtful design solutions that deliver real impact.

Meet Kota

Kota is my little buddy. He had a rough start to life. Kota was rescued from Korea when he was a puppy from the meat trade. I saw his puppy picture, and the rest was history. Now he’s the happiest boy. He loves chasing bunnies, growling at squirrels, and cuddles. Due to Kota’s lack of opposable thumbs, he isn’t great at computer work, so he was promoted to project manager. I catch him napping on the job a lot.

Meet Lily

Lily is my little girl—naughty, independent, and full of personality. She loves sneaking forest “gifts” into the house, like sticks, rocks, and sometimes even slugs. Rescued from the Korean meat trade, she’s still a bit shy but living a happy life now, and she absolutely loves her cuddles.
